Birding Walk at Folsom Point
Date: Wednesday, September 27
Time: 6:00pm-7:30pm
Location: Folsom Point Preserve
Join Pheasants Forever biologist Nic Salick for a bird walk at The Nature Conservancy’s Folsom Point Preserve Wednesday, September 26th at 6:00 PM. The walk should offer some great opportunities to view fall migrants, late fall blooms in the prairie, and explore this beautiful Loess Hills site.

Attendees should note that this walk will occur outdoors in the Loess Hills of western Iowa and will require pedestrian travel over difficult terrain. The outing will occur regardless of the temperatures, and will only be canceled if we experience lightning activity. No bathrooms or formal facilities are on the Preserve, so plan accordingly.
There is no attendance or registration required. The walk will begin from the parking lot that google maps indicates as the address of Folsom Point Preserve. Parking will be along the dirt road, and carpooling is encouraged.
