In the mid-1970s, a series of television commercials were written by Bill Fries, an advertising executive with Bozell Jacobs of Omaha. These commercials chronicled the adventures of a truck driver, C.W. McCall, who delivered the Old Home bread products of the Metz Baking Company. In each commercial, C.W.’s eventual destination was the Old Home Filler-Up An’ Keep On A-Truckin' Café in Pisgah. |
